TODAY EXPRESS NEWS ( AJAY VERMA ) Amitabh Singh Dhillon, IPS, Commissioner of Police Faridabad visited Surajkund Mela Grounds on 23.1.2018 to oversee the preparations regarding Security, Traffic & Parking Arrangements during 32nd Surajkund International Crafts Mela 2018 along with Shri Virender Vij, IPS, DCP Traffic Fbd -Cum-Mela Police Officer, Shri Vikram Kapoor, IPS, DCP HQ, Shri Shri Kirthpal Singh, IPS, DCP NIT, Shri Rajesh Joon, Nodal Officer coordinated his visit on behalf of Surajkund Mela Authority & Haryana Tourism. Other senior officers of Police Dept, Haryana Tourism, Fire Dept were also present beside the CCTV, Security & Parking Contractors.
Dhillon took a complete round of Surajkund Mela Grounds and directed all concerned to put best foot forward to ensure best of Security, E-surveillance, Traffic & Parking arrangements. He directed the officers of Surajkund Mela Authority & Haryana Tourism to ensure proper boundary walls, fencing and leveling of Parking lots well in time to ensure safety of participants & visitors. He directed the Parking Contractor to submit a detailed plan to run various parking lots in coordination with the traffic Police.
Dhillon further directed the Sr Fire Officer, MCF Faridabad to ensure sufficient deployment of Fire Vehicles & trained staff as per disaster management. He inspected all the emergency entry / exit gates to access preparedness on crowd mobilization & control during rush hours.
32nd Surajkund International Crafts Mela is scheduled to be held from 2nd-18th February 2018.
